Stained Glass Restoration

Whether your stained glass windows need a small repair or a complete stained glass restoration, I can bring them back to their former glory and in most cases you won’t be able to spot the difference between the new and the old.

Restoring stained glass windows usually involves removing the panel, removing the lead and cement and finally replacing the broken or missing glass. I have extensive experience of restoring church and listed building stained glass of all types and ages.

Depending on the stained glass that needs the restoration work, some repairs can be done on site. Otherwise, I can remove the glass and perform the repairs at my workshop in Looe, Cornwall.

I try to use reclaimed antique glass although, if necessary, I can source glass from suppliers in the United States and Germany. I can also take an old piece of glass and resize it for a different window frame or use.

Don’t be afraid to pick up the phone and give me a call. Large buckets of broken glass and leadwork don’t phase me, they just ignite something deep inside me to put the pieces of your puzzle back together for you.

Give me a call and I’ll try to help you to save your lovely windows.
